Our team combines experienced plasma scientists with professional software engineers to develop high-quality software for integrated modeling and design, fusion data visualization and analysis, plasma parameter prediction and control, and more.

The core of many of our solutions is NSFsim, an IMAS-compatible, advanced Grad–Shafranov 1.5D axisymmetric (2D solver with a 1D kinetic component), time-dependent, transport-modeling, free-boundary tokamak plasma simulation code operating in an external magnetic field. It is based on the renowned DINA simulation approach, with more than 30 years of experience across numerous tokamak experiments and control applications.

NSFsim is a foundation of the Fusion Twin Platform and part of our Reinforcement Learning toolkit for training ML models for plasma shape, position, and other parameter control.
